Congrats Alumnus Iram Lewis!


Tuskegee alumnus Iram Lewis, former 2 time Olympian from the Bahamas Men's 4 × 100 metres Relay (1996 Atlanta Games and 2000 Athens Games) is the new president of the Grand Bahama Amateur Athletics Association GBAAA. He is the prior 1st Vice President of the BAAA.

Lewis received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Tuskegee University in 1990. He later established Lewis Architectural Services in 2003, a fully owned Bahamian firm that offers efficient architectural and project management services with offices in New Providence and Grand Bahama. Lewis has also mentors Tuskegee students and young alumni, most recently 2015 Tuskegee Eminent Scholar and architecture graduate Stefanie Collie.

Some of Lewis' projects include the Supreme Court Design Contest Winner (Lead Architect, $47M), Bahamas National Stadium (Project Manager, $34M), and the Nassau International Airport Baggage & Passage Screenin Upgrade ($12.5M).
