Participate in the 2017 Career Focus!

The Tuskegee University Robert R. Taylor School of Architecture and Construction Science student organizations, the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) and Building Relationship In Construction through Knowledge and Service (BRICKS) will be co-hosting the 6th annual Career Focus event February 13th, 2017 through February 17th, 2017 on Tuskegee University's campus. The purpose of this event is to better the students’ skills when acquiring internships and jobs as well as exposing the architecture and construction science students to the professional world and views of surrounding architects, contractors, and related fields. All architectural firms, construction companies, alternative career-based companies, graduate schools, and professional organizations are encouraged to attend. Alumni are highly encouraged to consider securing an interview table for a $100.00 fee per day and/or an ad in the event program at this time. The funds raised will assist the student organizations in their efforts to raise money for professional conferences and events throughout the upcoming academic year.

The American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) is a student-based 501c3 non-profit organization, which serves as the official voice of architecture students across the United States and abroad. Building Relationship In Construction through Knowledge and Service (BRICKS) is also a student-based organization that serves as the construction voice and umbrella organization for the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), Associated General Contractors (AGC), National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), Tuskegee Women in Construction (TWIC), and Sigma Lambda Chi International Construction Honor Society (SLC) student chapters.
